I found a lot of people in this community still don't know the difference between Manhwa and Manhua. I'll make it clear, Manhwa is made in Korea meanwhile Manhua is made in China. Is everything clear? Now, what is your favorite Manhwa or Manhua?

On mangasee i see so many manhwa like
Tales of demons and gods
Martial peak

All of them seem so genric fantasy and childish from cover. Are they worth reading?

What are some good manhwa and manhua that will get me hooked instantly. I only know of bastard manhwa.

I recommend you to read Soul Land, Release that Witch, and Mesmerizing Ghost Doctor

First, the titles that you mentioned are manhua. Second, the reason why a lot of manhua are generic fantasy maybe because fantasy genre are pretty popular in China. I can't guarantee that the manhua you've mentioned are worth reading. Maybe you could give it a try. Third, I recommend you to check out Day 100 of My Sister's Disappearance. It's almost similar to Bastard. Enjoy.

I actually don't remember encountering a manhua before, the only reason I know it exists is because of the confusion of manhua and manhwa

I don't speak English that much, so please cut me some slack

ikr, some community having discussion like what is the best manhwa? and half of the answer that i got was mixed between manhua and manhwa.

of course the most obvious would be their name. but other than that:

Manhwa:
- Mostly good Art
- proper storyline (there are worst storyline but at least the flow and development are well made)
- each chapter are long (20-30 page if manga comparison)

Manhua
- good art
-super cliche when it come to story line (most but not all of it)
-cultivation stuff,
-each chapter quite short (7-10 page if manga comparson)

I think webtoon comic is manhwa so my favorite is Bastard. I haven't read any good manhua yet.
