It was already stated that Asta's anti magic sword has the power to nullify magic and when he bends his sword a little, he can deflect it. Were you sleeping while watching it? It was explicitly stated in a simple manner and wasn't even complicated.

He can nullify magic with his swords from his 5-Clover Grimore so that’s why but also his 5-Clover Grimore was over taken by like a devil/demon so that’s why he is also able to nullify magic.

why are you being so aggressive. It’s complicated because how one of his swords can mirror magic one can deflect and one just neutralizes magic and even then it depends how the swords are used

I thought we were supposed to infer that when he slashes it nullifies, but if he its it with the flat side if the sword that it would reflect.
Beyond that, it depends on the sword itself, since he hasp multiple.

it mainly depends on the type of magic he's going up against

example: he can reflect flame magic with the broad side of his sword, but a normal slashing motion would just slice right through the fire and not actually nullify

why doesn't the flame magic disappear when asta's sword hits it? period. why can he just tap people on the head with the hilt of his sword and erase some magic spells?

he couldn't even use his sword to negate the

mage, right? he just sliced through it without negating it. and he couldn't even reflect it either...
