| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, this episode is interesting. With the competition heating up and high stakes, it's also nice to see the cast getting along well outside of classroom. Everyone has something to prove I guess. On therother hand, Ai was much more amusing to see this episode than usual. |

| It's rare that a 1st Year class like Sarasa's is abe to perform at the prestigious Kouka stage while performing Romeo and Juliet, and Andou-sensei will only pick 4 out of 40 students to do so for 15 minutes. It's high stakes considering the Kouka name, and everyone is for their ownselves working in teams of 4. Sarasa isn't interested in things other than playing Lady Oscar, but Romeo and Juilet could be her big break and goes for Tybalt for yet another challenge. Needless to say, Ai hearing her interpretations makes for a fascinating perspective for Sarasa to earn some golden nuggets of wisdom to get her invested into the role. For Ai, she's content being in the background, but her former idol lineage raises expectations from the 2nd Year students, and challenges for Juliet with Hijiri-senpai's goading. Everyone is working as hard as they could both in speech and expression for the audition, and Sarasa still isn't feeling that one bit due to indifferences of jealousy. And wait no further, the audition is here, and it's on full display in front of the teachers, which gives the class of 40 girls some hell of a pressure. I find it interesting to understand Romeo and Juliet from Ai's perspective, questioning the motifs and recollecting back to her time with Sarasa. It's like a dream that Ai, with her outstretched hand, can learn the meaning of "love", even if by a teeny bit from the day she met Sarasa. A stellar audition at that, almost broke her mentality of setting the bar quite high for other girls auditioning for Juliet. All the best girls. |

| Ai’s performance today was absolutely immaculate. Idk if the series will go Shojo Ai, but it had shades of it today. Using she and Sarasa’s friendship as her only love reference… hmm. I’m glad Sarasa stuck with Tybalt and is doing her own thing instead of just having them both be Romeo and Juliet Only 2 more eps left! Hopefully we get a season 2 announcement at the end of this. Wasn’t expecting this to be one of my top 2 shows of the season, but here we are. |

| Nice episode. I liked how they used flashbacks for Sarasa and Ai as a method for them to relate to the thoughts and feelings of Tybalt and Juliet Looking forward to the last 2 episodes. |

Exactly what I said. Your comment is patronising implying that I didn’t understand the subtlety of the scene when in fact I did, my location is also in my bio so the western comment didn’t make any sense, lastly my original comment still stands. I said what I said. |

| Oho, the 1st Year class are able to perform in the Kouka Culture Festivale for the second years. And the second years are definitely not happy with that. Espically that one bitch.. Anyway, only 4 out of the 40 will be able to performance the Romeo x Juliet play. And you can see the atmosphere changing quickly.. Sarase had trouble picking between Tybalt and Juliet, even after Ai-chan's rant she still had no clue who to pick. And wow, the artstyle looked way too crappy in their room, did they forget to redraw it or something? But the face expressions were adorable. Ai-chan was way too cute this episode. And it's finally time for the audition. Not one but 5 teachers are going to vote. The intense aura in the room really makes you feel nervous and lose all your confidence but fear not! Ai-chan is pretty used to it and her performance was incredible. It was so interesting to see the thoughts of Ai-chan for the play. Well, Ai-chan's Juliet play nearly killed off all the students lol. Some still have the confidence to beat her. The visuals near the end were just beautiful. |

I don't think there was Shoujo Ai, she mentioned "Love" many times but it was all about "Charracter" she played as Juliet. I'm afraid that in the context of leads, romance exists solely in the form of Sarasa's formal boyfriend to avoid yuri shipping. |

| Little Sarasa's tantrum after being scolded by her grandfather looked genuine, I liked that. |
| Ai saying that not knowing what love is and how to produce it is not surprising. He Mother never cared about her since forever. Other than Taichi, Sarasa is the only other one to show Ai true warmth and kindness, and Ai used that as her motivation and fuel to do such a wonderful performance. It will definitely take Ai a long time to be a truly happy human being again, but it's a good start, we will definitely see more of this in the future. |

| I really loved this one. The comedy was probably the funniest I've seen from the series and I liked the white eyes imitation that Ai did lol. And the acting itself was great. The voice acting is impressive and really makes everything more perfect than it already is. Ai's part was beautiful and quite emotional honestly 5/5 episode. Sad how there's only 2 episodes left :( |

| "It's good to stoke those competitive flames every once in a while." When exactly have you done anything else? The school seems to be founded on unnecessarily tearing each other down. On that note, Hijiri's character still annoys me. Not because she's a bad person, but because when you're known for being sneaky and manipulative you can't exactly sneak or manipulate. Why exactly is anyone tolerating her when she's so unsubtle? I was hoping the way Narata would draw her inspiration would be to act like Sarasa. That would have been funny. I guess a heartfelt performance is good too. |
| sarasa and ai are literally soulmates idc idc. be it romantic or platonic they're SOULMATES i hope aya can get that sarasa moment too where she gets light when she really needed it, i cant see my poor girl feeling bad for herself again its way too hurtful😭 |
| Great episode! I love Ai's long hairstyle, she looks so pretty. It was a bit cliche that Ai drew her performance through her experiences with Sarasa at the very last second, but at least the execution was alright. She gave some good advice to Sarasa. Sarasa is such a fun character to watch, I'm really looking forward to her re-performance of Tybalt. I'm sure she'll do great, especially since she'll be performing with her own take on Tybalt's character this time around. The most predictable outcome would be Sarasa landing the role for Tybalt, Ai for Juliet, and Kaoru for Romeo, but most likely there'll be a few surprises. I'm a bit scared for Ayako's performance, hopefully she'll do alright and won't be ripped a new one again. She definitely needs to work on her self-confidence, although of course that's easier said than done. I'm guessing next episode would cover the auditions and audition results, and episode 13 would cover the second years' graduation show? Wow I can't believe this show only has two episodes left, I'm really going to miss it when it's over. |

| Ai chan's Juliet gave me goosebumps, that was beautiful. Also Sarasa's realisation of jealousy gave me shivers too, so hyped to see her audition. |

| Fantastic episode! I love this show so much, I am gonna be sad if the show doesn't get a second season. I would love to read the manga, but I can't find any unofficial translations. Really enjoying the auditions so far, I hope we see all of the main character's performances. Naracchi might have not experience love yet, but her friendship with Sarasa is the closest experience she has of love. If that's the kind of performance she can make with their friendship, imagine if she really falls in love with someone, I wonder how her performance will improve. Really looking forward to Aya, Kaoru, Sawa and the twins performances, but I can't wait for Sarasa's Tybalt. |

| This anime has managed to take a character I hated in Ai and turn her into one of my favorites this season. Incredible episode. I can't wait to see Sarasa attempt Tybalt again. |

| Hijiri and Ai's mother appearing in the same episode? Please, give me a break. Good thing their interventions were quite brief ones. Fantastic episode overall. I really liked how Sarasa and Ai's dilemmas were handled. Not to mention the studio also succeeded at making the audition feel as stressful as possible. As for the acting, Ai's interpretation of Juliet was simply beautiful. Though knowing that her only reference of "love" is her recent friendship with Sarasa is quite sad. Anyways, now it's Ayako's turn and I pray the Gods she can give a good performance. Good luck, Ayako! |

| Alright, time for me to catching this up. After sport festival, now culture festival. But, its not the usual festival, more like the graduation time for a second-year, and a show-up time for a first-year folks. Everyone surely fired up, especially with the auditions format from Phantom-sensei. Guess what? Ofc Watanabe had trouble again figuring out whats the best role for that important situations. Naracchi was still supporting her out, but she forgot to tuned it up later to herself. Almost messing it up in the last minutes. However, Watanabe figure comes back again to save her role from the misery. Goosebumps? Yeah, Naracchi always beautiful whatever she's doing xd. But, its not over yet. There's still more characters need to show up their best, especially to Watanabe Sarasa. Two more episode, and i can see how's this end. |
