Do you guys think Dededede's getting an anime any time soon? And, would you like there to be one?

I think if there was gonna be an anime it would of been announced and or even aired by now with a S2 on the way. There was a promo made for the manga a while ago by Viz Media but that’s it (it’s not that bad)

Asano’s work lies in the same realm as Vagabond where the art is so intricate that it would be a massive if not an impossible undertaking to adapt it into an anime. But you never know… Maybe we’ll get an incredibly horrible live action adaptation with bad CGI. Let’s hope that it doesn’t happen.

Considering none of Asano's work has ever been adapted to anime, probably not. His series bring in the numbers, but not the anime numbers. I think the tone and pace of a lot of his manga would also be difficult to replicate in anime in a way that is actually good. Plus he's published in Big Comic Spirits. Most of the top rated manga in Spirits have never been adapted to anime. Also, the author himself might object to any anime adaptations.

I think of asano's work, dededede is the most suited for animation. That being said, I'm not holding my breath on it.

Within my heart I really want it. But I know it's impossible considering Asano's personality and anime's industry.

The serialisation magazine is rarely been rewaded with adaptions. Since "Kimi wa Hokago Insomnia" announced for getting adaption then we need to wait atleast another 5 years to decide..

Probably not, the manga isn't that popular to have an anime adaptation and it would be pretty hard to animate the sci-fi stuff of the manga.
