Episode counting

I was wondering how episodes are counted here in MAL for doraemon 2005. So there are like 2 13ish mins parts in most episode releases, and sometimes just one 20ish mins part. So are the 2 parts that are released together counted as one episode? Or each of those part counts as an individual episode.
According to wiki each part is a separate episode even though they aired on the same day. First release had 3 parts (3 episodes?) and 2nd release had 2 parts (2 episodes?) the 3rd release was just one part and so on. Finally the 2005 year-end-special was 3 parts as well.
In short I am wondering how episodes are really counted,
all parts released on one day = 1 episode OR each part of an aired episode = 1 episode
Just curious and also because I want to add the numbers correctly in my anime list.

those parts are called segments , so i think all parts aired one day = 1 episode .
Same goes for Sazae san it has 7000+segments but 2500+ episodes.
Also you can check the per ep time it's 25 min .

Yea I do currently think the same as well. Just got a bit confused after looking at the wiki, but given that it says 25 mins on the episode duration it should be one episode per aired date. But then some episodes have 3 segments and they go on for 40ish mins from time to time. More over, Year end specials go on for an hour or more at times.
