Should I watch the series again or Go straight to the Movie

| To clear out the miss conception here this movie is actually a Canon, cheak on mal sequel section and this movie comes right after another Steins Gate movie So in chronological order you should have watched this after s1 but you didn't so you missed this section of the story unfortunately It's really great movie but unfortunately it won't be as good for you since you already watched 0 In this case it's doesn't really matter just watch the movie or re-watch the first season, up to you |

MAL isn't an official source, and it's wrong about many things regarding S;G Like calling 23b and 0 as an "alternative version" Like jarring spelling mistakes like "Rintarou" instead of "Rintaro". Or "Ruka" instead of "Luka". Or calling Luka a girl in his bio. Something listed as a sequel to something doesn't mean it's considered canon officially lol, so your point doesn't even makes sense. For example, Timothy Zahn's trilogy is a sequel to Return of the Jedi, yet it isn't canon. The fact is that every material in the Science Adventure series which takes place after the movie just simply ignores the movie. The movie is just White Fox's own take on Steins;Gate, it has nothing to do with Mages/5pb., the original creators. And on the top of that, the movie also contradicts with the original story, so there is no headcanon that can make this canon. |
