| also thought Maka's voice was a little weird, but i just didnt expect it. who knows, it might grow on me. anyway, the art style and animation is nice, and the character designs are great. nice mix of humor. |
| Makas voice is a little bland.. Really nicely animated and the action scenes were really fluid. It's good for a bit of mindless fun. 4/5 |

| Really good first impression. Too bad they have to start over, but thats the deal. Maka's VA is interesting. Sometimes i feel like she is reading from a script and sometimes it feels real. |

| I finally got time to watch Soul Eater! YES!!! Firstly, the OP is simply epic! I love how hype-inducing it is, and catchy it sounds! Same goes for the Ed, I like the transition it has. This first episode did well to briefly show the world of Soul Eater to its audience. I like its concept and the characters already seem likable! Poor 'Soul Eater', since he ate one of Blair the witch sexy cat's soul, he has to restart all over again, lol. I find Maka's voice... Awkward... It's quite weird to hear. |

| This was a pretty good beginning but I've yet to get fully into the anime. Watching this episode, I figured that it'll grow on me more later on since the whole setting and theme was interesting to me. The action looks great and I'm looking forward to warming up towards Maka and Soul and seeing them kick 99 more Kishi asses in addition to an actual witch's the next time around. Blair looked ravishing and Lord Death reaper chopping Maka's dad every time he acted like a dumbass was hilarious~ |

| Yeah what IS up with that fuck-ass moon??! So this was actually quite the popular title, as it's currently sitting at 54th place on the popularity charts with nearly 1.5M members here on MAL. But it's still not something I would've ever thought to pick up- until I stumbled across this video: Based off this first episode, I can already tell for myself that this is gonna slap. Probably going to end up being at least a 7/10 for me, if not 8/10. I watched this episode twice, first in sub then in dub. Was actually kind of a hard choice, but I think I'm going to stick with the sub. For the souls watching this in the future, you can watch this together with my past self in a way. I'll most likely be leaving replies in almost every if not every episode discussion thread. See you at the next episode hopefully! |

| Alright well that was a fun start! We got introduced so Soul, Maka, her dad, and Lord Death who are pretty fun characters so far. One thing though, the voices definitely felt... Off? I think it's more Maka and Soul's voices feeling a bit weird at least to me, but yeah idk they just sounded a little off to me for some reason. Not sure if I'll watch this all the way through yet but I'm interested for now! |

| Alright So it's finally time to watch this Shounen which I've heard praise about especially the manga. A good first episode, nice introduction to the world and I already like Maka and Soul's combo. Let's see where this goes. |
