As someone who has read the manga, I admit the first half was very promising but on the 2nd part, it did a complete nose dive. It basically commited seppuku on itself. And the ending was a complete ass. But hey, if you still want to check it, go for it. |

| I stopped reading the manga around 20ish chapters, picked it back up then dropped it again around 30ish chapters then forced myself to finish it, first few chapters were promising but it just dragged on for so long and was a mess and I lost interest in it. I’m just hoping the anime is a bit better because the manga just felt boring, I didn’t care for Future Diary so maybe that’s why, it was basically the same thing but about suicidal kids. |
| Sad I kinda liked the start of the story but yeah like you said the 2nd half wasn't good, I feel like if these characters were more interesting and developed the 2nd half would've been better |

| This manga is stupid from the beginning. Look, it's basically supernatural battle royale about deciding who will be new God (same premise as Mirai Nikki). Contestants choosen for that are ALL from Japan BECAUSE they have high suicide rate. |

| As someone who was excited by the first chapters, I can confirm that manga is bad. The story became very boring and ridiculous at some point. I even dropped it once but finished only because there weren't many chapters left. To be fair there are some interesting aspects near the end but not enough to salvage the manga as a whole. The only good and near-perfect thing about this manga is the art, it's incredible! I wonder if the anime will be able to adapt it as beautifully. But if not, all the more reason not to watch this. I'll probably just check some episodes out of curiosity. |

| We have to evaluate this work independently of the previous ones. It would be unfair to think that it will live up to Death Note. We are not expecting a new DN, but at least we are sure it will be a good deed. |

It's a 24 episode adaptation so the odds are they are going to adapt the whole series. If they don't do an anime original ending, it's doomed to fail miserably. |

So by that logic they could have just as easily chosen Americans as they could have Japanese. Well, back in late 2015/early 2016, when manga started, Japan was higher according to wikipedia. |
