The movie was too short in my opinion. They did not really build any deep relationship between them and it is kinda frustrating. Could be better, i still gave it a 7/10.

I believe the whole romance aspect was really rushed. We weren't even able to connect with the characters all that well

Yup they get together. Fast forward the film till the end. Last 1min I think. There's a small scene where it's shown them kissing as the fireworks burst in the background.

They kiss in the last scene after the credit so it's safe to say they end up together

But no one know if it's a long distance relationship or he convinced his parent to not move/he decide to stay there alone

I would agree. Long distance normally doesn't work out, probably there first crush that had feelings towards each other (or at least definitely for cherry. Man couldn't even talk probably to new people.) I'm guessing it was a memorable first "relationship" and they probably like each other's post afterwards. Other than that, they donezo. At least that's what I think.
