I have 3 episodes left as I am writing this and I knew going into the anime that the ending is anime original as the manga hadn't finished as this show was still ending. I can tell with 3 episodes left that the ending is a bit rushed although I don't think it will be a complete disaster of an ending.

My question is do you think they will remake it to follow the manga completely, when do you think it could happen and what studio would animate it? Also at what episode does it start to become an anime original ending?

its more than 10 years now since this anime aired and the manga is not that of a big seller afaik so i say forget it and just read the manga

100%. This show is a prime candidate for something like that. I would love to see a modern Madhouse take.

No that absolutely wont happen. If it does then it'll kinda be a miracle. Though honestly I'm not a fan of this show too much so I would advocate for a Trigun remake or maybe Great teacher Onizuka.

He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

I’d love the anime to get a full manga treatment, like Fruits Basket did. I read all the manga and it makes me sad that the anime got a crappy ending. But sadly, if I recall, the anime wasn’t that popular, so I doubt it, and the fact that Claymore as a manga series wasn’t that popular anyway. So I doubt it.

I would be a happy boi if it did happen, but I gotta crush your dreams.

i'm really hoping it can happen, since there's been numerous revived adaptations that were not expected thus far of other works. claymore would be amazing to see again more than a decade later from the first in 2007. back then i kept holding onto it possibly getting another season and that didn't work out. but truthfully, i don't think there's enough fanfare support at this time to warrant it... if it did, it would have to be much more faithful to the manga as many hated the ending (of both forms, albeit).
