Ok back to your question , it took me about 7 months (i dont remember tbh) but yeah around that number

Ofc you can "finish" One Piece in a month or so (like my friends) but that's not healthy lmao , just enjoy the show (:

Well its about 13.65 days of anime or 327.6 hours. If you watch 2hours a day or 36 episodes a week, it will take 23 weeks to watch 983 episodes. Take into account a new episode every week with 23 new episodes adding 7 hours, that adds another 3 days of 6 episodes a day. So a a total of 23 weeks and 3 days. Watching more episodes a week will shorten that period.
It took me personally 4 months to watch 879 episodes 2 years ago.

Depends if you’ve watched any so far and entirely how much invested time a day you wanna give it. Could take a month, could take 4, 8, or even 12! OP is about the journey though, so don’t rush it! Also, manga. Manga!

Even though I paced through it, I recommend watching it slow. It has too many good arcs which I didn't appreciate because I watched it too fast. Every once in a while when I watch scenes from those parts, I remember why this anime is so good.

btw what do you think of One Piece (so far of course) the first 200 episodes of One Piece is said to be the weakest saga in the entire Series (but i lowkey enjoyed them , like a lot)

And i hate comparing things but just asking .. You like Shippuden or One Piece more ? Just wanna see ur opinion

If you will watch 30 episodes per day then you will caughtup in 33 or 34 days....I did the same but that time my summer vacation was going on so I didn't have anything else to do so I only watched one piece and in starting like 200 - 300 episodes the pacing of One piece is a little bit slow so I watched the episodes at 1.25x speed..

Yes, you should, the anime is really good till the 400th or so episode. It starts going downhill after the timeskip, that's when I recommend you continue with the manga

I actually had finished my school and had nothing much to do. Would watch one piece a lot. Sometimes 10 eps sometimes more. That 58 episode day is on the extreme side and a one time event.
I currently watch 4 eps of anime daily.

It take around 2 month for me.I target at least 20 ep per day,but i always watch more than that when it come to a interesting part like boss battle of the arc or any part that make me want to watch more🙂🙂

I too wanted to watch the anime over reading the manga. But honestly, one piece manga lives up to its name. It's panelling and artstyle is great. It's the best way to experience Oda's storytelling.

You can watch the anime if you have the dedication. Otherwise, just stick to the manga.

About 3 months ig, i watched it in 1.5/ 2x :)

But tbh take it slow. It is an ongoing anime. You'll feel rather frustrated once you reach the latest episode

It took me 2 months of watching 20+ episodes a day to catch up, at the time the anime was at the Punk Hazzard arc. ( which is late 500s to 600 episode mark )

I'd say now to catch up if your watch the same rate as I did, it would take you 3 and a half months to catch up. If you don't have the time to watch basically an entire 2 cour anime every single day, even halfing that amount would take you just 6 months.

End of the day watch it at your own pace, it definitely is a journey :)

With math if you were to skip every intro you could catch up in about 13 days of non stop watching. It took me about 3-4 months to watch from start to finish.
