forums are a great place to go if you are in need of friends, anime recommendations, advice, or just a group to talk to! it's also a great place for debates around anime and manga if you are into doing stuff like that on here! ☆*:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:*☆

there are

lots of different forum boards here on MAL! everything from anime and manga discussions, to a creative corner, where you can show off your artwork and other creative things! my personal favorite are the forum games, where you can play fun games with other site users! i also enjoy casual discussion, where you can discuss anything that isn't anime, and hear about others' perspectives on things! there are often debates in the casual discussion, so beware! if you have triggers for religion, relationships and/or death, i would say to go on there very cautiously or not at all.

are looking for anime recommendations, i think miss kobayashis dragon maid (manga and anime series) and the top wo nerae! series (i believe anime only, i may be wrong, though.) are great! you can also check out the recommendations board if you need an anime to fit a specific want! you haven't already, you can update your forum avatar and signature to look as nice as possible! there are competitions you can be voted into or vote yourself into to compete for the month's best/prettiest forum signature or about me page to get pretty banners from the competitions host/s! these are completely optional if you are not interested in doing them!
