| No I wouldn’t. I loved this anime but I never thought the ending was unique. It’s was a very ordinary ending in my opinion. But I do love the concepts explored by this anime but if you feel it is I can see why I could be called a masterpiece. |

| Nah. It's good, but it's not that good. I think it'd be a lot better if Satomi wasn't in it. Kana is way more interesting, while Satomi is just kinda...there. She's just one of several superfluous elements of the story. The way the main bad guy goes down at the end was very anticlimactic and then all of a sudden a lecture about environmentalism comes out of left field. |

| Parasyte was awesome and the adaptation was a long time coming but I feel it greatly would’ve benefitted from a 37-39 episode run instead of its measily 24. |

| Personally I do but I don’t think it is or should be considered one by the wider community. I love anticlimactic ending and the whole theme of what it means to be a human is amazing but definitely won’t hit for everyone. There were multiple emotional episodes and the pacing of it felt good as someone currently reading the manga. Everything about the story was great but I don’t think it’s something the wider anime community will come to like to the level of a masterpiece. I hold this series close to my heart emotionally so therefore I consider it a masterpiece but I understand those who don’t consider it such. |

| I think the show could've been a masterpiece if it actually went a little more in depth with the parasytes and maybe explained their origin. I was hoping that Shinichi and Migi would've met more people in the same condition as them and maybe even work together to get rid of the parasytes. And also, what happened to the baby? Wasted potential right there. |
| I just docked a point for the rooftop scene, cause honestly it wasn't even necessary. everything else was absolutely amazing. 9/10 for me. |

Wasted potential right there. all those reasons are exactly why this show isn't a shonen. I feel like everything you said is expected of a shonen series, but it just feels off in seinen. Seinen shows rarely give origin stories (eg, Tokyo Ghoul) anyway. Meeting more people and getting rid of all Parasytes? yeah that's what I'd expect in a show like demon slayer or naruto but not this. The baby was meant to show Reiko's development as a maternal figure and hardly had any impact on the plot itself. And Shinichi would already be a middle aged man before the child could come of age lol, so it is beyond the point of the show tbh. what kind of potential did you see in the child anyway? |

| I remember being this show a really good one but I wouldn't call this a masterpiece neither I have seen people claimed it to be. |
| For me it is, since it does everything really well. At least the things that I enjoy. In it's 24 episodes it achieves many things other bigger titles could not. Like portray the conflict of different species and human influence. Within a few episodes I question ethical and moral values and the suspense is really well done. I also really love the unique dubstep soundtrack. |
