Because no one calls it Sorcery Fight. Even Crunchyroll, which always uses English titles, calls it Jujutsu Kaisen. And as you said, Sorcery Fight is a stupid name.

Even in the English sub their magic is called Jujutsu. And everyone knows the abbreviation JJK, if you are gonna say SF nobody is gonna get it. One of the reason a lot of anime get called their English names in the west is bc the Japanese names are long and complicated (to pronounce). Jujutsu Kaisen is just EZ mode and vibes a lot more with the show

Is the name jujutsu kaisen complicated? Not at all. Now let’s compare it with something like Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e, (Japanese name for Classroom of the Elite) Jujutsu kaisen is a badass sounding name and it’s easy to pronounce. Where sorcery fight sounds to kinda obnoxious to me. The classroom of the elite Japanese name is so annoying to try to read and pronounce for English speakers. And for a shortened form of jujutsu kaisen, jjk. SCF or SF isn’t a good shortened form.

The localised name for Jujutsu Kaisen is Jujutsu Kaisen. Crunchyroll licensed the series and uses the name Jujutsu Kaisen. So saying Sorcery Fight is just incorrect.

Because that's how it's known and even streaming sites like CR which mostly uses the English names uses Jujutsu Kaisen and not Sorcery Fight. And I know you don't want to hear that it's better but I gotta be honest Jujutsu Kaisen sounds better than Sorcery Fight imo. And even in the official CR Subs it's called Jujutsu Kaisen in the opening and not Sorcery Fight and also there are many places in the Official Subs mentioning Jujutsu instead of let's say Technique or Sorcery

more accurately, it called them "jujutsu-shi," which from my, *ahem,* anime experience, I can infer basically means jujutsu user or as the subtitles say, jujutsu sorcerer, which sounds a lot cooler than just sorcerer in my opinion.

Who in their right mind thinks sorcery fight sounds cooler than Jujutsu Kaisen? Even the English manga has Jujutsu Kaisen as the title. Sorcery fight is one of the most generic and boring titles. Sounds like it would be an isekai that got canceled after one season, not one of the biggest shonen of the new generation

Why does it bother you so much? I personally think JJK sounds a lot cooler and since a lot of people watch it with sub and not dub, we don't even really see the English name. And it sounds a bit off, but that's just a personal opinion.
