| I’m still really hoping this comes out in october but seeing that they haven’t released any info yet this season will prob be released next year. But it’s still possible that they release a trailer like 2 weeks before release like jahy sama. |

| If they are continuing with A-1 Pictures, it makes sense. The SAO movie coming out this October looks like it has a really high budget and that's probably what they were busy with. But they should've started production by now because they don't have a lot of projects lined up. Safe to expect S3 in around late '22 or early '23. Before that is a long shot. |

| I'd guess spring '22. I think once SAO progressive movie drops oct 30th, they'll hopefully have some updates/announcements in Nov/Dec just before winter season stuff start. Just my thoughts tho |
