| It's a sad day y'all. In either case, a solid chapter despite being a very tricky one to get right. I think the word "transvestite" should've probably been changed to gender-nonconforming in the translation, since that's a very dated and offensive word to use, but Japanese usually takes loanwords in a way that evolves differently than its original so maybe it made more sense in the raw text. Nice that they were able to squeeze in "lookism" in there too. I hope the x-gender person (which is basically the Japanese counterpart of the word non-binary) can work out with their own biases also and warm up to the petitioning girl. |
