 The official website of Summer Ghost, illustrator loundraw's directorial debut anime movie, announced the lead cast and additional staff members on Thursday. Avex Pictures also released a 30-second trailer. The short movie is scheduled to be released in theatres in Japan on November 12.Chiaki Kobayashi (SK∞, Great Pretender) is starring as the protagonist, Tomoya Sugisaki, a high school student. | Saw this on ANN a few minutes ago. The plot looks decent, reminds me of Orange or AnoHana but the trailer looks gorgeous. And the staff looks interesting (guy who worked on Vivy as director?). Not my cup of tea but I'll give it a shot when it comes out. | I feel to believe that this movie may just serve as one of those "it was pretty good" rather than "masterpiece", but I am looking forward to what is in store. |
