What do you mean like kabaneri for aot? I thought they didnt do any crossover.

Also, accel world has SOME crossover element. But its just mostly that its supposed to be in the same world as SAO but some years ahead. Ex: The computer tech they use are based on the SAO ones and there are some characters mentioned. But thats about it.

No, absolutely not.
But how is Kabaneri a spoiler for AoT? Because MC gets OP? Then beware of most Shounen anime.

AW is in thr same world as SAO but SAO WAS 2022 AND AW IN 2046,,, also yes there are some crossovers like games and stuff too ACCEL WORLD × SWORD ART ONLINE

Please watch Sword Art Online Progressive, it's the peak of SAO.

You haven’t watched either have you? My guy just watch them before asking questions that make you look like you don’t know how to use your brain or common sense because common sense says if sao has a different name than Aw then they do not have the same plot therefore spoilers are next to if not impossible as it stands, your logic sounds like this, erased is spoilers for Tokyo revengers or slime Isekai is spoilers for spider isekai. Just do the research next time because if you read the summaries you’ll see outside of crossovers that the two anime have nothing to do each other, I mean you took the time to make this so I have no doubt you can’t do the research

I think it does mention the premise of Sao, which could be a spoiler, but you’d get the same info just by reading the MAL description on the Sao page, so unless you’re trying to steer clear of even that then it’s nothing that should stop you watching AW first. Enjoy!

no, this anime has nothing to do with the SAO anime, it has absolutely no mention of the events that happens in SAO, the AW x SAO stuff happens way later in the source material, like vol 20+, anime covers volume 1-4

there is a reference to the SAO nervegear but that's just that, an easter egg placed by the animators as fun becuse they are written by the same guy and the animes came out at the same time, it is not present in the source material

BUT, Reki wrote SAO till alicization arc, and after that he started to write AW, so AW has concepts from the alicization arc, much more refined versions of those concepts, so no, AW S1 has no story spoilers, but as far as ideas, it uses similar fictional concepts
