I read the manga after this season and actually enjoyed my time with it. It drops in quality around chapter 150 when I feel the author wrote himself in a tight corner in few instances and had to so some ass pulls to solve these issues, but anything prior to 150 were pretty solid, and even with the ass pulls in the last 30 chapters, it was overall quite an entertaining manga and definitely 10 times better than whatever the f**k season 2 was. Season 2 pretty much skipped every single good thing about the manga and adapted the parts with ass pulls at the end, then added even more ass pulls and made some characters' decisions to be laughably rushed when it was somewhat understandable in the manga, not great but at least understandable. I thought it went downhill after the escape. The arcs afterwards weren't terrible or anything and had it's moments, just not worth it to read so many chapters imo. There are far better manga than this one. But good if you enjoyed it and I can see why people would want to see the rest of the story for themselves. |

| Manga sucked after the escape. Anime is even worse because they cut out all the somewhat (comparatively) decent content from the manga while keeping most of the bad stuff, and somehow still handling the bad material even worse. Don't let anyone fool you though. Had they adapted the manga 100% faithfully the Goldy Pond & bunker stuff would have been solid, but the rest of it would have been trash because the source material turned into trash. |

We had high hopes and the 1st season was amazing, but they delivered absolute trash. Heck, even tokyo ghoul had a better adaption |
| Because the writing in the anime og episodes is beyond atrocious: Big infodumps à la SAO One convenience after another Talk no jutsu and power of friendship "Martha" Some things left unexplaint Shit pacing Slideshowending etc. |
