People are disappointed coz it skipped major arcs from the manga, also the pacing is slow with a terrible ending.

I would still watch it, it finishes the story, it didn’t bother me since I’m anime only and I like how it ended. It was a story completed-ish

Skipped goldy pond arc(best arc) cuts out characters entirely. Its not even promised neverland its just a grab for cash.

(Spoilers?) I've never read the manga, but the reason I don't like it is because it was rushed and it pushed great characters to the side and forgets about them.
They couldn't even be bothered to introduce new stuff properly for the anime only people, sometimes they just expect you to know stuff.
Plus the ending was basically just a PowerPoint slideshow...
It was a major step down from the first season, which was amazing.
Let's just pretend it never got a season 2-
All opinions are valid, unless they hurt people. Or suck.

it isn't a faithful adaptation and the ending was very rushed and the last episode was literally a slide show, although i heard that the managa isn't even that much better

but i still enjoyed this season dispite the flaws of it, and im very very surprised that the internet noise of hating this second season didn't reach you

It’s not just because it was anime original(eg Tokyo Ghoul S2 was alright). It was plain awful, the pacing was outlandish, and the ending was a fucking slideshow that made no sense

It was all filler, painful to watch, and a complete disappoint compared to the source. The only reason anyone could even justify watching it is if they were watching as it airs since it would only be one piece of garbage to watch a week

I just really like how it showed us the perspective of the demons and how they had to survive. This really made me feel bad for them. Also when Norman came back I felt happy. (Yes in the manga it’s totally different) ( I also liked how in the ending it shows the kids going to school and some of them having there own family’s ) yes the show did change the whole plot and go anime original, the pacing was really bad and some scenes weren’t explained very well,But besides that I did like it. Hm , yea fairly good points, ur right about the "bad pacing," and "some scenes weren't explained well" it was very rushed.
And with the ending?, I kinda see why u liked it, cus they finally got a "happy ending" nice to see them all grown up👍👍👍

On its own, S2 is not that horrible. But if you compare it to the source material, then it sucks. A lot. Just a bad adaptation and a rushed anime original ending, basically.

As someone who hasn’t read the manga, the unfaithful adaptation thing doesn’t bug me nearly as much. However, it is a poorly written mess with a rushed ending and a deus ex machina character. There’s this flashback scene for a character we just met that’s supposed to be emotional, but is animated in powerpoint. Don’t subject yourself to this season.

Well people say the the the story doesn't like "match" ecc. But the only issue i had in the second season was that i felt that they rushed it a bit thats all i really had an issue with.

Because this show has no character development, misses so much from the anime, rushes what arcs they did cover, and then had a slideshow for the whole rest of the show.

Has a 8.60 mean score

From what I know it was very different from the manga, so I guess that is what made so many people dislike it. I personally have not read the manga but it felt rushed and I did not like how it ended.

Simples é por que o anime não seguiu o mangá mas nem todo anime é obrigado a seguir mangá ,eu estou assistindo agora há 1 temporada mas irei para a segunda logo depois para vê ser foi tão ruim assim como dizem.

hm i thought it was alr, but the ending sucked. basically manga readers are mad// which i totally get, i would be upset too if i read the manga.
but 5.6 is just exaggerating it tbh. it wasn’t THAT bad.

Because season 2 is terrible especially compared to season 1. Also the rating currently isn’t THAT bad. A 5.5/10 is a pretty meh rating.

Because it's not good? There isn't a whole lot to add.


It doesn't adapt the manga properly and the things it changes are just... simply not good. Especially when compared to it's prequel

Compared to the Manga the Adaption is a desaster, even as an first anime watcher only i felt the rush and i could see that some things got obviously left out and unanswered.
After reading the Manga i thought yeah okay, some characters don't show ans like these scenes and places get kept out but the second season it was just too much and there is a big whole thing missing including very important things that should not have been going missing and they simplified it very much as well.

I read the manga partly but not completely as it wasn’t finished at the time. However like people said they skipped a lot. It could have been so much but it wasn’t. I didn’t completely hate it, but it was definitely disappointing. It really looks like they were only granted one more season with only 11 episodes and they would just have to figure out how to finish the whole series.

I will just hope that this is the case, and that it wasn’t supposed to be like this. Might’ve been worse if they followed the manga properly but then never be able to finish it, so it would just stop midway.
