"Blue Exorcist" creator Kazue Kato will adapt the novel "Eizen karukaya Kaitan" by Fuyumi Ohno starting in Jump SQ issue 10/2021 next September 2021. 6 chapters total.

During this time "Blue Exorcist" will be on hiatus. Resumes in April 2022.

As much as I love the manga, I'm glad she will take a break. Might give her some time to think about the story, maybe she'll come up with something interesting.

She takes a break for another series, so I don't think she would think about ao no exorcist.

She's adapting a novel, so she doesn't need to work out the plot for it.

I think she has no time for Ao no Exorcist because she has so much work to do, but yeah you may be right.

True that. She cannot work on it, but maybe she can give it some thought, as writers do.

I’m also interested in when the manga will come to a close. I put it on hold about volume 11 but have been keeping track of the official English releases. Seeing the manga covers for volumes 24, 25 and 26 made me wonder if it’s nearing its final arc?

Just finish the damn Manga before starting a new work!
