Why rate an anime while comparing it to manga?

So i read the reviews and some forum posts. People are complaining about fast pacing and missing stuff from manga. I just binge watched the whole show though i admit pacing is fast and due to lots of characters each character get less screen time. But i still enjoy the show and would definitely recommend it. It's better than shounen and fantasy stuff that we get now a days. tbh i think current rating is very low .
I haven't read the manga but from the forums it seems manga is pretty good. But as person who is too lazy to read manga I would not miss a good anime even if it is not as good as source material.

It is shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult.

idk I watched this show a looong time ago I barely remember anything except some particularly gory parts

(I'm just sharing my opinion, I am not trying to make it seem as if your opinion is bad or doesn't matter.) I did not read the manga, I still didn't enjoy it for some reason but I think it was because I didn't like the characters and it seemed maybe a bit fast pace and also didn't seem like a memorable anime and maybe a bit cliche to me, I'm not saying it's bad, it's just something I think seemed a bit boring.

I agree, I think that the anime is perfectly fine on its own and enjoyed it while watching.

On the other hand though, I can see why a manga fan would be upset at the adaptation quality (even as a non reader I could tell the pacing was turned up to 11)

I didnt read the manga. Season 1 at the very least is still trash. I recall giving it a 3. Season 2 was a massive improvement though imo.

He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.
