Overlap of Episodes (from episode 54)

Hello guys I plan on watching this. I saw someone mentioning on Reddit that the last 26 episodes of ashita no Joe (1970) overlap with the 12 episodes from Ashita no Joe2. I don’t want to watch the same thing twice so which should I rather the skip? The last from 1970 or the 12 from 1980s version? I’d think for the better animation I should stop watching Ashita no Joe after episode 53.

They are different the last part of season one is non canon as they caught up to the manga, but those last episodes are still great. They are similar, but I mean you should really just watch all of it instead of skipping. It's not really watching the same thing twice, atleast it wasn't for me

if you for some reason don't want to watch the last part of season one maybe just start season 2 then. I forgot to mention that sorry.

No problem I recently watched Legend of Galactic Hetoes and absolutely adored it. I want to get now into older anime and this seems to be the first important one. I have no problems with old animation so as long the story is good I’ll surely enjoy it

Las dos son buenas, aunque es más conveniente ver la de la segunda parte, ya que es la canonica y tiene mejor animación, si quieres cuando termines todo el anime dale un repaso a la versión del relleno.

yeah for sure you should try it out. It was a real journey and it really did a lot for me. Its one of my favorites forever. This and Kinnikuman are my top two.
