| This was one of my favorite shows from Fall 2020, but I never thought for a moment that it would get a second season. This was a nice surprise to wake up to. |
| Funimation co-funded this, that's the only explanation I can think of why this series got green litted for a sequel. Was a comfy isekai to watch before sleep, so for me the this second season is welcomed. |

There's almost no slice of life isekais, and this did a really nice impression as one of the first in this genre. It may look like it's normal due to some outliers recently, but sequels for unpopular shows are rare. Just because you liked a series it doesn't mean it'll get a sequel. A well liked show is not guaranteed one either. The anime here skipped a *ton* of important content from the novel and wasn't very popular nor successful enough to even hint at a possible sequel (anime sold around 600 BDs, which arguably doesn't matter but since we don't have merchandise/LN sales numbers it's our best bet on guessing its popularity. And 600 isn't a good number). The rating this anime has in here is also quite low, but the only numbers that matter are those low numbers (600 BDs) from Japan. So it is a (pleasant) surprise for a sequel to come to be. |
| I just watched the whole season a week or two ago on Hulu so to hear that it's getting a second season is very welcome news. I just wish we didn't have to wait as long :P I didn't realize that it would be that unexpected though. I thought it was very relaxing and left the possibilities for season 2 wide open. |
| Pretty happy, rewatched the first season in celebration of the announcement. Thought it was a pretty fun show. Not the greatest isekai, but I did find it enjoyable. |
| I enjoyed S1 and expected it not to continue seeing not much talk about it. Color me surprised. More Ryoma and Elia and it's nice to see slice of life Isekai getting some love as there just isn't much of them. <3 |
