The only difference is that the movies are far worse. I’d higky recommend it event if you’ve seen the 1997 as I think it’s just as good. Also I has a better ending then the 1997 anime but I won’t go into that for obvious reasons. |

| Watch this after watching the 1997 anime (or after reading the Golden Age arc in the manga), as a lot of plot points are cut, but still can be appreciated for it's animation and great voice acting. Also if you're on the fence about wether or not to watch the dub, it is the same voices from the 1997 anime dub, and they do an even better job in the movies |
