Code geass should have end it in R2 and should never make another sequel or alternative story like this

Well l dont hate this movie but i think they are flopped by making this " alternative story " they should have ended it in R2 tbh, but it just my opinion

It's not nearly as good as the original series but it's still not terrible. I think it's fine to mak as many alternative storues as they want as lobg as they don't mess with the original story.

In the movie we've got a nice ending too. So I have no problem with the alternative version.

The movie is enjoyable nonetheless. I agree that the main story should have ended on Season 2, but I also like watching more of Lelouch and C.C. so I'm also happy.

I have only watched the sequel movie (3rd movie) but for me it is TRASH. The ending of code geass is so universally beloved because of lelouch's sacrifice and it ended in the most satisfying way possible but this crap completely wasted its efforts for nothing.

Yes , R2 ending was perfect ;

but I wouldn't mind a direct sequel IF its good

(* resurrection was str8 , but kinda mid at the same time)

I didn’t mind this movie
I skipped second and third movie cause they felt like they where re caps of the original series….

But even though code geas purists say Lelouch should be dead
Cause his death changed the world blah blah blah

It was good to see him back…
The way he sacrificed him self and made the whole world hate him towards the end of season R2
It made me sad the last episode… as Nunnally finally realises
Why he did what he did…

I like the continuation of the story in my opinion many people won’t agree but oh well…

The same thing happened with neon Genesis Evangelion I prefers how the series ended in the movie the end of Evangelion just before third impact….

But I thought the rebuilds where rubbish except for 3.0-3.10 the fourth movie was like this movie to code geas
A continuation after the events of third impact

Pretty interesting really

Still don’t understand how Shirley was still alive in this movie after rollo killed her in R2…

And also the pink pilot in neon Genesis was made for eye candy… she didn’t bring much to the rebuild series…

They changed it in movie 2/3 where shirley doesn't die making this a completely alternate storyline which diverges from R2.
