| Man firstly someone tell me... I haven’t read the manga but doesn’t the pace seem fast or is it just me ? Hell yeah this anime gives goosebumps one after other... first becoming fushi, then that “arigato” , then becoming ounigma and this taking the mother with himself.... bless this work |

| Holy shit, what an episode. It's been a while since a seasonal made me tear up like this. Before this episode I thought that March safe. I got a bit worried when they started talking about what she wanted to do as a grown and damm, then it happened. That was so nasty lol. Fushi became more human - but at what cost? When we saw her ghost I thought they would bring her back, I wanted that to happen so badly. I hope the story is gonna introduce a way to resurrect people. I also dunno how to interpret the words of the narrator at the end. It was pretty ambiguous. Then there's also Hayase, I wonder what's up with her. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| In a way March did become a mother for Fushi T_T damn Yanome and Hayase that bitch. I have warmed up to Parona a lot more now as well! Too bad we no longer get to see them :( |

| Week 4 of hating Hayase. I thought she finally got her shit when Fushi crushed her in bear form, but no, of course she lives. And that ambiguous ending with Parona, I hope she and her village are safe but Hayase's evil grin tells me otherwise. FUCK HAYASE! |
| RIP March. Like the boy in the first couple of episodes, March was just another naive kid with hopes and dreams, but ended up getting their lives cut short. Now Fushi can take on her form in addition to turning into a bear while getting attacked. |

| Meh episode for me. The plot conveniences and random shounen comedy really killed the impactfulness for me for the most part, if not entirely. The execution may have been on point, but I wasn’t impressed even then because of the aforementioned. The story didn’t handle March in a way that make me care about her specifically and frankly I only feel kinda bad for her misguided parents. If this show is this much reliant on emotional exploitation and manipulation without much of a decent foundation to it other than the main theme of Fushi’s story (to carry the will, image, and legacy of those passed away that he’s interacted with), then that’s not a particularly good sign. Hopefully the next episode will make up for things, though. |

| I knew it that adult March in the OP is a fake just like how Junpei in the picnic scene in the Jujutsu Kaisen OP is fake as well. Goddammit stahp playing with our emotions like this :((( Criticiza said: fushi turned into her.March was so blooming innocent sad to see what happened to her. | What a horrible phasing this episode had but march dying made up for it. The parents knowingly sacrificed march so why are they even crying? At least there is some story progressing finally. |
I was really sceptical when I first saw the trailer. It looked like a poorly drawn white hair that looked like it was bleached. But after seeing episode 5... This anime is way too good, I was NOT expecting this, |

| I can see that manga was great. But anime fails to fill details omitted from it and those become plot holes. E.g. whole carriage fight was as unbelievable as it could be and while March's sacrifice was great it was also so poorly executed that it can be nominated for Darwin Awards. |
| Parona's poker face is so strong that is scary. She would be a great companion for the journey. March death shouldn't be a surprise but was a surprise. How Hayase survived that OTT bitch slap? |

| I'm in tears typing this right now. Wiping snot from my nose with my shoulder and shaking tears away from my eyes. God damn it dude...God damn this fucking episode. The fact that Fushi grows more and more due to this traumatic event as well. Just simply and utterly amazing. I wish Parona went with him but Oh well. I also can't believe that Bitch Hayase is not dead. Unbelievable. |

| I had a feeling March was going to die. When the episode began I was like "She's going to die, prepare yourself" but no. No preparation could have prevented me from crying. I was fine at first but when Parona started to pretend to eat things she prepared I broke down. The episode was 25 mins long and I cried for last 15 minutes. I am SO GLAD Fushimi turned into the bear and tore apart those people. It still hurt but at least I'm glad they at least they got to feel his rage.. So it wasn't enough that we had to see March die but we had to see her as a grown up??? AND AS A SPIRIT????? WHYYYYY WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO MEEEE We got to see how Fushi was able to "communicate" with the bear in the last episode and now we saw how he was able to make March's wishes come true by preventing Parona's suicide attempt. That part was also really heart-breaking but I'm glad it happened. Hayase looked batshit insane today after she got slashed across the face. Seeing how Fushi learned to make facial expressions and the way he pursed his lips and pouted like March AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH HOW MANY TIMES WILL MY HEART BREAK THIS EPISODE And seeing how he turned into March at the end... It was such a perfect ending to this whole arc. I am hurt, but it was amazing. Now I know why people are tempted to give shows a 10 before they end. I always wait till the end to give my score to a show but I am tempted right now. It's going in AOTY status right now. In this episode, the guy who handed him the bow said that it was a heavy one. I think she wanted to hit but couldn't. We saw her aim for Hayase's head. I really do like that she missed though. Felt more realistic. Everybody wished for her to get hit with the bow and die and that's usually what happens in every show and movie but Parona missed. I think we're going to get another confrontation with Hayase in the future. |
