Self-explanatory title, also I don't wanna hear any of y'all being like "oh no don't bring your leftist politics into my beloved anime" shut up. leave, I don't or probably anyone else values your opinion, being blind to a quite clear allegory is honestly embarrassing.

I don't really care how you interpret the animal peoples oppression just share what you think. Imo it's fine, not some revolutionary thing but not like absolutely horrible, is really good in some places and really awful in others.

I think the way that this anime portrays during the firsts episodes is pretty good. Just because they are different they are treated this way, BUT the final was a bit broken and messed up.. like if something could be tranformed into a killing machine if teased of course i will be in fear and want to avoid..
One good anime that truly portrays opression is an anime called Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou No Shinchin

It portrayed it pretty basically imo. It was more just a plotpoint for a story rather than an actual political message which is what I prefer in media.

Joker didnt have a clear cut message to take away from the movie and thats what makes it so damn good. Basically I like complex nuance rather than political mantras being shoved in haphazardly.

He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

I really loved the bit abou migratory birds.

It shows that it was aiming more for cohesion than analogy, also, it relies heavily on empathy, which I think is underestimated when media deals with those kind of stories.
