| DBZ was the death of battle shounen. I saw DBZ on TV back in the late 90s, and while I watched it, it was never that good, as the battles linger on for too many episodes, and the battles themselves are just fists and feet moving at ridiculous speeds. It's aged very badly. I watched DBZ right up to at least the Kid Buu saga, but never finished it all, and because of that, I never bothered to even add it to my list. |

| DBZ (and overall dragon ball franchise) was to boys what Sailor Moon was to girls. It's just meant to be stupid, regular TV entertainment for kids/young teens. This is actually the first time I'm seeing someone say they hate it as it's about as classic and neutral as it can get these days with most discussions being about what's currently airing. |

Funny you say that when it was actually along DB and Fist the ones that started it all, but sadly few are knowledgeable enough here to recognize that. They only attribute all the origins to DB. |
