Is the plot different than other normal slice of life ?

Does it have anything to offer other than alive of life stuff is it worth it to get into if you are not intrested in slice of life?

I watched the anime up to season 3, and first of all, if you're not interested in slice of life at all, this definitely isn't for you.

It's one of the pures slice of life, episodic and slow paced, dealing simply with Natsume and his various experiences with different types of youkais, while understanding over time the type of person he was and how he is developing over time
