So in the story told through the years of the classes, its stated that once the event is started a student will die every month. However in the current class 3, it seems someone is dying wayyy more often, like multiple people every month. Is this a plot hole? Why isnt it one student a month

I believe it's one a month plus others for varying reasons (like the kid who died for trying to tell him what was happening)

I haven't seen the show for a long time though so idk, but I do remember A LOT of kids dying

yea i know mentioning the story = death but... feels like before going to the shrine... like 5 kids died in the span of a month

ok I looked up the deaths, and seems like (regarding only students) only one person died a month aside from the guy who died at the beach, but he didn't die that way in the source material. That's ignoring everyone who died from killing each other or spoiling the plot though, since that was unrelated to the calamity.

That could be wrong, it's only what I found from reading about their deaths. I really don't remember too well😂 Also don't know why only some adults does, don't remember that plot point

i haven’t watched/read another in like years but if i remember correctly the anime kinda dramatizes the manga like some deaths were altered or actually added so maybe the manga is more closely tied to the one month rule

Oh, yeah... That was a serious "WTF just happened?!?!" moment, changing the tone of the series from a thriller to horror on the spot.

» Well, this ending was a bit ass. Very mixed opinions.
