| It made me realize that Hand Shakers was actually a bad show. I actually enjoyed it when I initially watched it. But after reading the complaints regarding this anime, I had gotten very aware of its flaws, and it plummeted the enjoyment I got watching this anime. |
Ok I'm pretty sure this is a joke, but since a bunch of people really do believe this, I'll use this as reference. There is literally nothing wrong with being influenced by other people's views. The only thing that's wrong is people's stupid ass. I know it's better to deny it, especially online because you want to keep it cool. The best, most concrete opinions are formed after getting to know all sorts of different perspectives. Doesn't mean you'll have to be influenced, but there's also nothing wrong about that. |

| I wasn’t aware of how much Seven Deadly Sins/Blue Exorcist were trashed on, even before SDS’s Season 3. I thought they were pretty damn good. I probably wouldn’t have discovered Ashita no Joe if it weren’t for MAL, so yeah it probably does influence what I watch. For my tastes no, anything ai is trash, harem/ecchi on occasion and shonen for life. I probably won’t enter an elitist phase, it makes people less approachable. And yeah, it’s always been that way. |
