I'm sorry if I was late about this but what do you guys think? Tbh,I ever dropped this season because of Saiba Asahi who has no clear reason to hate Soma's father.Don't get me wrong I love Shokugeki no Souma but season 5 was just fcked up.

S5 was alright I felt they should have sticked with the original ending, I hope we get an OVA for the real ending

I didn't even realize how early the season ended. Also this season seems very stupid compared to the other one's.

I think season 1 is still the best although I have every season the same rating of 8 mainly because after a few food battles you’ve seen them all pretty much as there’s not much else you can do differently and the story also gets kinda repetitive with constant competitions. I think the ending is great but isn’t bad, it’s better than most endings we get in my opinion though, if I had to define it it’s not really and ending they kinda just carry on through school but we don’t see😂

Please stop, I don’t want to see any more Dekugo😭

For me imo it's a great ender of a series and the op as well is kinda has just this kind of reminiscing feel about it the story was also very good idk why most people hates this season I may just be rewatching it to like build up my MAL acc but trust me the story of this season is the best compared to any final season specifically within it's genre

I loved this anime all the way up until this final season. As exaggerated as they were, up until now every characters abilities/speciality was just on the right side of being believable and realistic which helped keep the tension in the actual battles. As soon as they introduced villains who pretty much had superpowers, the writers painted themselves in to a corner where the protagonist would only win because ‘they’re the good guys’ and there was no actual drama or tension allowed to play out which made the whole season feel empty.

this anime is very good i have watched and waited for this anime from season 1 to 5 + the OVA and i feel that in season 5 of this anime the ending is not satisfactory even though i hope that soma or the nakiri will express their feelings for each other or even they both can get engaged, I hope the party who made this anime will publish the OVA or maybe it's better if you add season 6 and I hope in the OVA or in season 6 there will be an engagement between soma and the nakiri I hope like that but if it's ova or season 6 of the anime it will exist.
and if there is I will be very happy with this anime and I will make this anime my favorite anime of all time.

hi guys hehe i just finished the season 4 and im satisfied with the ending, that's why im dropping this season 5 since iknow this will just cost me—stressing out, i mean as i've read this discussion. But overall i enjoyed the show
