It was not well received. They adapted the Manga poorly. Horrible would be the right word. I don’t think it would be green light for another Season. If you would like to continue the story, stick to the source material, which is vastly superior. This mangaka has bad luck with adaptations since the same happened with his other work Heaven Lost Property.

It would be nice, but adaptation was utterly butchered and was received poorly. There are chances, but pretty low.

i mean i thought that it would get a season 2 because in the last scene it showed that the MC's classmates were alive and they left us with a cliffhanger..

I speculate it's poorly received given the Japanese fans are main income of getting season renewals.

It's not a surprise since the adaptation is executed and made so poorly. Despite a big number of blind viewers rating this series a 8 to 10 stars, it won't be renewed since animation quality isn't well-received by many fans, including the manga readers. And there's no news of DVD sales being bought in big amounts...

Not to mention, there's an important scene of an injection showing so with that not present in the anime adaptation, it'll be a jarring change in how you make a person berserk without showing the injection part.

That aside, the person above you pretty much sums up everything goes wrong with the anime lol.

This plus that even if there's a chance for a season 2 to be happened, it definitely won't announce anytime soon for two reasons:

1) There isn't enough contents to do a 24 episodes season at a moment.
2) GEEKTOYS is currently busying with DAL IV which will air on fall 2021

I tried to like this anime but as it progresses it just get worse and worse. The probability of another season is highly unlikely. Maybe for the best imo.

This anime adaptation was so horrible. When i read the manga I started to understand what's happening during certain event. The anime is rushed or skipped important events.
