To be honest I think you should at least read the chapters that have been compressed in the episodes with 3 chapters (I mean episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7)
In episode 1, the last sketch about the armadillo and anteater (chapter 4) had a sea cucumber, that was such a shame the anime didn't included it.

For those who may be confused, I rewatched the anime just to search the chapters they adapt.
