| I read manga, so I am more or less aware of what to expect from the plot and atmosphere, but I am confused how this would work in anime. They will either need a very large budget for very detailed shots or a very large skill for high-end animation. |

The manga is as much as a art book as it is a manga and is a celebration of motion and joy in still life. But keep in mind to look at it through the eyes of looking at art in a museum as many will look at it and call it ecchi but it is like going into that museum and calling the paintings and statues ecchi. I think that you're being naive, the author really wants to make the fanservice lol (like when he made the gym uniform of the girls so weird in the butt area, for me it was itentional) but for me it doesn't matter because we've got Akebi's dad, I hope that he get screen time too (he is too pretty and is such a good father, I'm in love with him <3 lol) |

| I didn't read the manga so I know nothing about the story and how good it is but looking at some positive responses here and the trailer also seems to have a relaxed and calm atmosphere.. I'll most likely watch it when it airs. |

Turns out the mangaka of this was the Original Character Designer for Super Cub! From the synopsis she wants to make 100 friends. I see the manga started 3 months after Komi-san! But from the trailer seems like the MC is the complete opposite of Komi-san. |

| The art in the manga is gorgeous And only cute girls in the cast (except the father male), The Yuri vibes are very strong and my little lesbians are flirting like crazy,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES So I am hoping the anime will follow. Hopefully, CloverWorks will once again deliver and give me some sweet much needed Yuri! Looking forward to it! I think Akebis |

And more than having 100 friends, she just wants to be an idol. I don't remember her saying that more than once or even at all. Probably only marketing phrase. |

| Judging from the trailers it looks like Cloverworks is putting more attention to Dress-up Darling than Akebi. So don't be too hyped about it. They won't be at their best with this one. But also not bad. |

| @Lab_Rat_0978 I wouldn't call it yuri bait as it basically never goes beyond "melodramatic angles". In the second half of the 50s chapters, there are some vague hints of a possible romantic arc, but I highly doubt that the anime will even make it up to this point. |

| The cover art looks appealing. The visuals are in my top 5 of the 2020s. Since it's Slice of Life, it'll be easy to digest. Her introduction in front of the class was embarrassing for me, more so than it was for her. |
