| Dr. Schumann had a similar life as Tenma, doing everything a hospital director was telling him to and even marrying his daughter, too bad that his wife died because he wasn't paying attention to her, that was very sad. |

| Am I the only one who likes this episode? It wasn't that bad. I didn't expect that Deiter would travel together with Tenma. I felt sad because that old doctor did not propose to the grandma. |
| Nice episode. Hope Dr. Schumann is able to propose to Petra. He is wise, letting Dieter go with Tenma. Tenma truly does work miracles. Also, is it just me, or is Dr. Schumann like a older Dr. Tenma had he not chosen to operate on Johan? No more plots on Johan though. Man, this series is slower than a snail's pace. |

| dr chang, fucking lol. goulash was the connecting point to everyone in this episode. it was neat to see the village dr’s life compared to dr tenma’s. while dr tenma could have been following the hierarchical path of chasing promotions, sucking the directors dick; he chose to stay the normal route of what it means to be a doctor. i think that’s cool that he doesn’t chase promotions and fame, only chooses to do what he believes in his heart is. |

| Well, even though it felt like a filler, the episode was "fast" for me. More often than not, the bodies' proportion sure looked weird. Tenma will have to think of something to cover his identity and to look less recognizable, since an Asian man travelling with a, I assume, German boy do stand out. He should get rid of Dieter, but I can't blame the kid for being unhappy with that. |

| Lovely episode, absolutely lovely. This is almost like Mushishi in a modern, German setting. I suspect a large swath of this series will be an episodic, pseudo-connected chain of events as the last handful of episodes have been. And so far that approach is working very well. | LOL Tenma and Dieter’s relationship seems emotionless. He left him with that doctor without saying anything to Dieter. And when Dieter follows him in the end they just nod at each other XD. I don’t know but I find it funny. Anyway, they just starting so maybe their relationship will eventually go deeper. And I think Dieter will be an additional conflict for Tenma once he came face to face with Johan. He might use Dieter against Tenma. |
| Average episode. Kinda forced on a couple of occasions, how all turns out good for Tenma... Other than that, the story was pretty average. |

| Man, this dude just walks around in public with no care in the world. he doesn't have an alias he doesn't even try to change his appearance (looks exactly like the wanted poster) it's a miracle he hasn't been caught yet, that or just plot convenience. Anyway, I liked the episode it was cool when Tenma said "saving countless lives is my goal, but before that there's a certain man whose life I need to end" that was surprisingly badass of him. 5/5 |

| I just started watching this series and wow what a great ride, every episode had me edge of the seat and each time Doctor asks for information, the rabbit hole went deeper. This episode doesn't feel like a filler, I liked it too. |

| The apple doesn't fall far from the tree seeing how stubborn the mother and police son are. Its interesting to see Schumann's past resembling that of Tenma yet with a different path taken of marching up the promotion highway. |

| Everyone is calling this episode boring. I found it enjoyable. I liked this episode because it shows the dichotomy of Tenma's situation. He shows that he cares and wants to save lives, yet he "needs" to kill a monster, Johan. Doctor Tsundere and a cop that didn't snitch. Dieter should have stayed in the village. If he keeps on following Tenma, there is a good chance he'll die. |

| Idk man, I liked this one, it was enjoyable. I guess this is what people mean when they say Monster's pacing is slow? Like, ultimately, this village and the doctor and the woman he likes probably don't matter in the grand scheme of the story, but I still really enjoy these side-missions regardless. |

| This ep is pretty relaxing, we're back to seeing Tenma treating patients the way he loved to. Even got to connect with the villagers and make the local doctor and policeman be indebted to him afterward. Alas, Tenma must keep going, this village is the perfect sport for Dieter to stay though but I guess he's gonna stick around with Tenma for now. |
