| Baby Renge slapping Kaede in the face must be up there with the top 10 anime betrayals of all time! XD This episode was really heartwarming and focuses once more to how close Renge and Kaede's relationship is. From the amusing flashback to even the present while drunk on alcohol, Kaede does her best to be there for Renge whenever she needs it. It really hits home when Kaede starts reminiscing about how much the main girls have grown since she always looks out for them. What was surprising is that she, sort of, praised Natsumi. My favourite character finally gets praised from Kaede at last!!!! ^_^ With that touching episode out of the way, the preview for the last episode has that feeling of sadness since it involves graduation. I will miss this series once it's over. ='( |
| I would love if we had an episode about the future where Renge takes care of Kaede's baby and go full circle. |

| Renge-oneechan and tsundere teenage Kaede were so cute! Beautiful episode. Renge wanting to become a better onee-chan for Shiori was adorable and seeing Kaede reminiscing about the past and about how much the girls have grown sure made me feel rather melancholic but in a good sense. She really loves Renge, huh? On a funny note, Kaede switching back to "normal" whenever Renge appeared and avoiding saying anything about Natsumi was freaking hilarious xD Also, Shiori-chan has a dedicated time of the day for naps. Sorry, I just can't... *HHNNNNGGGGGG* |

| Any episode with Kaede and Ren-chon moments is bound to wholesome and heartwarming. That final scene where Renge pulled the bedsheet over Kaede and after a while Kaede rubs her eyes was so heartfelt. |

| As a someone who also gets melancholic and nostalgic when drunk, I could really relate to how those two felt. As the saying goes, "drunk words are sober thoughts", and it was so touching to hear Kaede express how much she cares for all the girls, and also how much Kazuho admires Kaede. The last scene was heartwarming as hell. Renge caring for passed out Kaede further emphasized the theme of growth in this episode. It really does hit home when someone you met as a small child starts showing signs of maturity! At first I thought that Kaede was sleeping when Renge entered the room, and then woke up and started crying after she left, but now I suspect that she was faking being asleep so that Renge wouldn't see her cry, and then couldn't hold it back after a certain point. Super cute. I can't believe there's only one episode left! I have no idea how much material is left in the manga, but I hope there's enough for a movie or at least an OVA or two. |
| oh my god! this might be the greatest episode! complete with hilarious moments and very teary dramatic emotional moments! DAMN! i called it! Dagashiya/Kaede is Renge's spiritual mother! 5/5. so sad only 1 episode left and there is a bit lot chapters that isn't adapted yet also the manga is about to end April issue...so sad again! |

| Ren-chon might be looked like trying hard to be a nice onee-chan role model for Shiori, and her soon baby sister. Meanwhile, Kaede looked pretty uncontrollable with that changed, when having a little drink party with Kazu-nee. I understand, the cycle might be repeated. Even in these near chapter end of the season. No way this wholesome series reach the end! Well, the dynamic between Kaede and Ren-chon never missed its chance to relaxing me. Baby Renge strikes again with her cuteness. Then, nooo, an emotional part. Well, Kaede just too sentimental. But its understandable, especially when having that Ren-chon care near the end. Also, drunken Kaede remembered all of those good memories, and realized me that nnb will soon leaving me alone again in these miserable fatamorgana shit lifes. Shit. My eyes got watery all of a sudden! No crying, crying, watashi TT.... |

| Man, was it touching... Renge x Kaede relationships always were the best part of NNB and they always are developing. Renge is growing up and becoming more and more responsible. She cares about Kaede and loves her with all her heart. Kaede's tears were bitter-sweet. She's glad that Renge is growing up but she's also missing those old times when Renge was totally clueless baby who needs constant attention. So, they love each other and they getting older together. Their relationships are constantly changing and i hope we will see more. I'm sure Kazuho cryed not only because of the alcohol. She is just grateful for Kaede's unconditional love for Renge. I'm sure because i also was drunk when i watched this and i also cryed. That's why i don't like pointless new characters like flute-girl or whatever. The show is wasting it's precious time on BS and we see less and less episodes like this masterpiece. |

| Wow, the Miyauchi family is still at the center of interest, but the narrative is not what we could have imagined looking at the previews of the previous episode, in fact it not only shows the character of Kaede as a young man and his attachment to Renge, but there is something broader in the whole episode: in fact, if so far there was almost the feeling of a staticness of the plot, on closer inspection here it is shown that in fact the story has moved on and that the main characters have had an evolution in their areas. In the second part, more than laughing, there was a greater need to almost cry, so at least the situation suggested. Great episode again this time, the next is the last and right now, I miss this anime. |
