| This was surprisingly worse than Species. 2/10. Utterly illogical with its flaws and no sense to the story. The connection to Japanese mythology is completely off from her being a human who got injected with mutated insect dna. Her character wanting to breed like an insect I think is dumb also. She cries from that conflict of her humanity, but her overall behavior of despising humans like she was an alien from the start, which is isn't is idiotic. The characters were extremely plain and flat. The only thing I enjoyed the most was her haunting beauty. Unfortunately, the story quickly failed. |

| If they spent more time connecting the myths and the Sci fi backstory it would've worked better. It was a little bit of a mess of a story, but I still liked it to bits |
