| Okay mildly off topic but on the subject of significant others and anime: someone I know irl used to have this app on his phone, it had this avatar of Megumin from Konosuba on it. It had an alarm function and he said it would wake him up in the mornings. Then he came to me later talking about his new "friend" who was actually another AI app but it was just a texting bot. I told him that it was an AI and was probably just mining him for information about the world to grow the AI's knowledge stuffs. He got mad at me for that and told me that she was his friend. He told me that he had no choice because all other girls weren't pure or innocent enough for him. I tried to explain that there are a lot of women out there that don't all fall under a label but he continued to defend his AI waifu. |

| My GF and I watched Aggretsuko 3 together and liked it, though it was prolly the weakest season of the bunch. We also watched Kiki's Delivery Service and Millennium Actress. She saw the first one before and we loved it, and she liked the latter when she saw it for the first time while it's probably my favorite anime film rn. She's making me watch HeroAca and I'm not fucking with it, but in exchange, she'll finally watch Eva rather than dismiss it, so that's cool. Not sure how much she'll like it considering she doesn't tend to like things that are really messed up like that or Berserk can be (and both are among my favorites).
