It depends.
By the name alone “I was kicked out of the Hero’s party...” should give an idea of the events that occur.
Not Isekai but Fantasy story.
This is the equivalent of the MC chilling instead of attending a calling.
Slice of life events with his special partner.
So if you like those kind of series, you could enjoy it.
Otherwise, it’s not for you.

Idk if the anime will be any good, but the ln/wn is pretty great.

I sincerely do recommend to watch this one because im one of the manga readers and all i can say is that its quite interesting , its not like your usual " getting kicked and living a peaceful life " story , it have some twist here and there and the characters are also quite likeable.

How harem-y is it?

The mc starts to go out with the main girl very early in the story (like bunny girl senpai) and he has no plans on getting with anyone else.

The Hero's Party, Especially his Sister(MC Sister is the Hero) needs him.
Plus the Title should be "Solving Hero-ish Problems while having a slow life in the frontier"

Since I've no idea & have not seen spoilers about this series, I'm guessing this will have the same feeling as Saint's Omnipotent Magic, just with lots of shocking revelations regarding (Maybe True) Hero MC & some heavy fights will happen in second half.

Hope to see a well-balanced tone throughout this anime adaptation, but for now, I'm keeping my expectations as low as possible.

considering the standard for these "I want a slow life" stories is them not actually getting a slow life, I'd say this isn't much different from usual.

it is rarer that MC gets into a relationship early on and stays monogamous though I guess.

I'd say this is a slow life story, stuff happens here and there but the majority of the story seems to be slow life.

As for the relationship, as others have said it's early and it's monagamous, i'm not sure there's even another girl who likes him, though the fl does have admirers, she's not interested in anyone but the mc either.

That probably worked out for the best considering we already have another pharmacy anime (Drugstore in Another World) in Summer 2021. 🤣

Um no, sorry but it belongs to the majority if bland fantasy shows that come out occasionally. Just so that we don't drown in Isekai every year. It's seriously not worth your time.

if you into romance stuff sure. otherwise no since that was the only thing it could do well

also may i tell you there is a shit ton of fanservice and if you despise ecchi with every ounce of your being stay away
not at all. thankfully

this show tried a lot of genres and wasn't specific to one. i think its this shows weakness.
overall watchable but expect a meh feeling a lot of the time.

Honestly a Fantasy that isnt an Isekai? Its already an 8 in my book and I havent even started watching it yet.

is it me or do all Slice of life anime(/game/novel/whatever) have a lower score just because there are so many people who can only watch something viral, violent, thriller or whatever

Such users are impatience so they -> don't check the tags -> "watch" it (as in skipping 5-10 minutes, looking for a few seconds, and repeating) -> give a bad rating because they don't like Slice of life -> as a genre and not the show itself -> I know this from a few impatience "anime fans" I saw how they watch anime" as in just skip any talk, any story or conversation, directly to battle and such, if battle pauses for a chat, skip again, and of course, this "fans" misunderstood the story, intentions and have a completely wrong impression of everything and they score is based on how much blood rush the show gave them or sadistic/protagonist complex needs-> you try to explain? well. good luck, I called them impatience for a good reason.....

Bruh this anime made me so annoyed... It started off so well and then the last 5 episodes just ruined it...

Bruh... Why? Stick to one genre, the slico of life part was good although not great, but the "hero has to fight evil" part was just crap all along, includng the last episode...

I've read the manga and it's pretty mediocre. Barely any worldbuilding almost zero character development. Its just little sis wanna met big bro that's it.
