The story is drifting between E-ki's dream and his reality. Is everyone dead? Or was that part of the movie? I'm thinking everyone's dead. Who's the shadow man? His imagination? It was wearing a uniform, so it could have been a student. If everyone is dead, it means he's real.

It's confirmed now that A-ya and his friends were fake. *sigh*
