| For me, I like art books. They are cheaper than figures, and they fit easily with other books. Manga takes up too much room for longer series. Honestly, I just like them. |

| Wait shit I didn't realize manga was on here before I picked T-shirt. Is that even considered merch? That's just straight up a different medium. Anyway, like 80% of all anime related T-shirts are hilariously bad, but there's a good amount of them that actually look good and are easy to coordinate with, allowing you to show off what you like without looking ugly as sin. I remember my friend who was the most fashion inclined among us in high school actually wore a shirt with the One Piece crew on it and he rocked that shit. Slapping a character's face on a plain T-shirt isn't acceptable to me when there's so many creative ways to make anime shirts look good. |

| I would choose light novels over manga as they hold more entertainment. It would be a miracle if you could buy a full manga collection, and as you usually finish one or two volumes in a day, the difficult purchase would not be worth it. |
| Art books or guide books, even though a lot of series don’t have any. I don’t have the shelf space for full series unless it’s one of my absolute favorites. I just love flipping through art or character info sheets and reading staff interviews. |

| i dont buy figurines or keychains or those types of stuff because i don't understand the appeal of it nor am i willing to spend like $20 to buy those things. (this is just because i personally don't understand the appeal of buying figures, im not degrading figures) the only anime related things i would buy are probably art books and physical light novels, mainly because it's a better experience to read a physical light novel or enjoy a physical art book personally and for the purpose of rereading or letting other people borrow it. if i'm getting an anime-related object, it's gotta have some substance and usage |

| Source material, but I don't usually have access to that (and it's too expensive when I do). I got 20th century boys for my birthday 2 days ago and I'm savoring the experience of reading an actual physical manga. It takes the experience to a whole new level... the smell of a new book, the feel of paper, the quality of the print... can't replicate that on a screen. |

| Of the list, probably art books, especially if they have unused concept art and the like. But the sort of stuff I mostly go for is in-universe items, like if a character has a particular jacket or bag or something, and that same item is made as merch. EDIT: Also what @CrimsonMidnight said above about less garish, less obvious clothing. |

As well as preferring practically-useful merch, though sometimes I become afraid of using it because I don't want to mess it up, heh. I mean, imagine what things would be like if we actually lived in those fictional universes. People would be less likely to have clothing/accessories containing the characters' likenesses on them and more likely to have the relevant symbols of their organizations or other icons. |

| I mostly just buy T-shirts cause my favorite characters never get figurines anyways and if they do they are insanely expensive or are out of print and hard to find. My Rolo one was hard to find and I got pissed cause where I couldn't get it to stand correctly it fell a certain way and there is a tiny little scuff mark on the figurine's cheek. |

| Gunpla, that's all I guess? if you guys consider it as an anime merch. As for the reason, I just like robots and mecha in general, in anime, movies or any medium. Second reason is I just like to build something lol. |

But for ppl that watch bnha and pay enough attention to bakugou, they will recognize it's the exact skull design of bakugou's shirt lol. |

| I personally don't find body pillows or figures appealing (especially those Chibi Pop Funko ones), but I will buy the hell out of anime prints and pins/charms/keychains. Clothes and mangas are other stuff I also like to purchase. |
