Can someone explain to me how reiner hid in the wall?

like how did he break the wall to get in, how did he stay in there when the titans are in there?? did he stand on their shoulders? can someone pls explain

I’m not too sure. I never through about it. The only way I could think of they were hiding in the gate but I don’t think they were. Maybe Reiner broke it using his armour but then that doesn’t explain how they covered it back up.

Pretty sure the broke a small gap in the cemented wall using their Titan and then covered it up with a grey metal plate hence the reason they were found, and the titans are in the wall but it’s largely just rock and Titan armour from when they were constructed.

When the collosal titans constructed the wall they used their hardening ability. However it seems that Reinner chipped in part of the wall which was hardened rather than an area where a titan resided. They then used a piece of wall they broke off to cover the gap while he held the piece in using a handle which they probably constructed and attached to the piece of wall (titan hardening). Hope this explanation helped.

It probably isn't entirely hollow inside but there may be gaps inside where the titans' hardening doesn't fill in. Either there are gaps or they chipped at it however it would be very difficult to chip at such a large area in only such a short time frame.
