Is this series actually good?

Hear me out, I found season 1 average, in fact I didn't even finish it which is fortunate since I later found out the latter episodes were filler

I found season 2 pretty boring as well. I was disappointed when the final boss of the season was a battle against blob

But this series is still going on, nearly 12 years strong now, without having been cancelled. And there's still a loyal fanbase around it. Is it actually on par with other long running series like Attack on Titan, Naruto, One Piece? Does it SERIOUSLY pick up after the Kyoto arc?
