| It's labelled as direct sequel to the movie on MAL, so we can assume it is? I don't see the point to make TV series the run through the same material as the movie. It does tend happen the other way around though. |
| Hard to say, S1 was a Volume 1 with Volume 2 mixed inside (water town arc) and ended the same way as Volume 1, movie is volume 5, so we probably get volume 3 and 4 adaptation. Also they might skip volume 4 cause its a bunch of side stories and random adventures here and there, or just throw them at random (the story of novice priest and warrior from season 1, who lost his sword is sewers, is a part of Volume 4 for example) |
