| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The final starts, Japan vs USSR Japan was great at reception and their tactic with attacking with two players jumping worked very good, the soviets were too lazy to move the block so Japan could score a lot. Midori's serves were not that good or the receiving was extraordinary. Japan won the first set miraculously with Kozue and Sanjou in top form. The soviets started attacking seriously with Borcha and Shellenina set that cross-toss, Borcha's surprised face was a treat to watch after her attack was received by the japanese. Somehow Japan lost, even with the two-stage receive, at this point, USSR looks like the better team. Ending of the tournament in the next episode, Johnny, Virginia and Cassie were in the stands. |

| Didn't finish next episode yet, just wanted to say: i really like what they did in this and next episodes. Girls just play, yell, sweat - nothing else. That what Haikyuu lacks. Just play the game, don't tell us the story of your life, Goddammit! |
