Every time I see a thread about AOT vs Fmab ratings I sigh, I just want something other than this. stop arguing about the ratings, both shows are good.

I am curious why people make these threads. Does AoT or FMAB or Kimetsu no Yaiba or what ever the flavor of the week month or year is make people feel better in some way or something? I really dont get it. I mean if you wrote it or worked on the anime I get it there is pride in your work. Yet people stake a claim to it like they own it and rave or rail about it like its theirs and they own it.

I dont even think it could ever be explained to me where I could understand. I am almost envious of peoples passion but also look down on them for their lack of subjectivity and inability to appreciate more than a single show and feel they are looking at it way too focused and cant see the big picture or something.
