| It's not umm.. manga strictly speaking, but the Artist is Japanese and lives in Tokyo... The writer IS English, however...and it's in full color unlike manga, but that should be a plus.. Monstress is probably one of the best graphic novels I've ever had the pleasure of reading. The art is AMAZING... The main character is demi-human or "Arcanic" as they call them in Monstress. Although she is a wolf arcanic, she doesn't have wolf ears or a tail or anything like that. She does however, possess a monster "God" inside her though. She travels with a Fox child and a cat...the cats in Monstress have multiple tails, are intelligent and possess magic. The fox child is absolutely adorable, I love her to death. It's just. freaking beautiful It's won 12 awards for best artist, best writer, best everything. It's highly recommended. Like...really fuckin good.  |
