Your lowest 10/10

For some people, giving a show 10/10 isn't easy. It must be something special for them, and not ashamed for giving it such a perfect score. Then, that anime must be good isn't it? So, what are your lowest rated 10/10 anime? I'm quite curious on how people's favorite anime isn't overlooked by others and giving it a low score (or at least not perfect).

For me, none of my 10s have particularly low scores but Death Parade is lowest with 8.21

Yeah I know it's very high but I've only given out two tens so there isn't much variety in mal averages.

My lowest rated 10 is Pet Girl of Sakura-sou (8.21)

Yeah, for me a 10 has to be a combination of pretty much all elements (story, writing, character, world building, animation, etc) and/or be "the nuts" when it comes to my own personal enjoyment.

I've only gave a few anime a 10, but Dororo is the one with the lowest overall MAL rating, at 8.19 (at time of writing).

I thought it was fantastic and I very much enjoyed the conclusive nature of the story. It was one tale, from start to finish, no "arc" or "season" format which is so common these days.

8.78, monogatari series 2nd season.

Kinda feels pointless putting that out there, but I guess I agreed with the majority.

My lowest rated 10 is Yuru Camp (8.27)

Fushigi Mahou Fun Fun Pharmacy has satanic rating 6,66, but in my heart it should have 10,01.

Digimon Adventure at 7.80. The only real reason it doesn't get the 8.0+ it deserves is because it's a kid-targeted show and the average user tends to look down that demo.

Madoka Magica is my only 10/10.

If I used a normal system then Pop Team Epic would take the title.

Devilman Crybaby (7.86)
This gem is often overlooked because of its art style or because it is too "edgy".

Mine is Id:Invaded with a 7.92 as of now, which isn't really low actually if you ask me OwO

Majo no Tabitabi : D , it's really interesting ngl. I'm sure a more suitable score will be present soon since the scores of currently airing anime could mostly be the people who dropped, it could increase by the time it's Finished.

Touch with a 8.03 score. I think that's a good score, I can understand why some people didn't enjoy it as much as I did.

Ah i was about to mention this one, Id:Invaded. This anime is really good, i was also giving it 10 but due to some confusion i downrate it to 9 but still holds a special place for me.

it doesnt really count as an anime since its just a music video, but egao no orchestra. i love it lots but it has a rating of less than 6. anime wise im not sure im too lazy to check

Suzumiya Haruhi second season (7.24), Its probably because of endless eight but honestly I enjoyed them! It did become a bit boring by the end of the 6th episode but its nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be

Cant believe it has this score, I remember it being an 8 when it finished airing(maybe I'm wrong though)

I have never given a score of 10 on every anime I watch, even anime that is really my favorite. Don't ask the reason, I don't know what caused it myself, It's just that I feel that every anime I watch always feels something is missing.

it's a decent score but it's the best thing ever made, too bad people can't seem to understand this masterpiece, they watch it because it has robots but fail to comprehend its true message, and no, it's not just a woman who loves a kid 10 years younger than her

Indeed, it deserves a higher score imo, but thankfully it's just a few points away from 8 which isn't bad, Glad to know you and Playay (user who posted this forum) also watched it : D

My lowest community rated 10/10 is Piece of Phanstasmagoria with 6.22.

Heybot at 5.90 which feels really weird to me because shitpost and overly referenced shows like Pop Team Epic and Gintama are pretty well received on the site

Mine's Attack on Titan Jr High, it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's currently sitting at exactly 7

My lowest is Bananya rated 6.73. Not surprised lmao.

Tsuki ga Kirei for me. 8.20 while i thought it's worth at least 8.50.

I only have two 10/10s, HxH and Gintama°.

Both have rating of 9.11. So yeah...

I rarely gave a 10/10, but OMFG Majo no Tabitabi is really good. Everything about it is really great imo. The pacing is perfect, they can balanced between the 'dark' and 'calm' episode and also they handle each episode without rushing things. The world building is also amazing and consistent. And more importantly, Elaina has a really great personality. She's not your typical idealistic protagonist, but more like realistic.

I gotta agree with u that people seems to underappreciate this series, but people just have different taste and I can totally understand people who don't like it.
Anyway, this is just my opinion and don't take me seriously guys :)

For me it' Burn The Witch: 7.22. I really liked the show, the characters, and the plot. Unfortunately it didn't adapt an important part of the manga, so that must be why it's not higher.

My lowest scored by the MAL userbase is of zero shock or surprise to me - so much so that even confirming it was just going through the motions, but it was obvious from the outset. If you're familiar, then perhaps you can guess by my avatar?

I'm waiting for it to eventually drop below the 7 threshold one of these days.

And now and always, eternally I must confess it's an absolutely unassailable work to me. Any criticism of it I can find interesting to read and intellectually amusing, but basically holds no validity to me. One of 7 series I've given 10/10 and one of 4 I consider S-tier anime, my #2 favorite but essentially interchangeable with my #1, and the only single anime I consider actually perfect.

So of course it's the lowest rated on MAL. Hah!

I guess I'm kinda meta for it being this high, but that'd be Baccano! for me at an 8.42. I highly doubt it'll do anything in the last 6 episodes to slip into the 10/10 tier, but Hyouka (8.15) is looking really strong.

Haha yeah i totally agree with that. I love this anime because all of aspect that you mentioned above. Meanwhile there's my irl friend thought that i love Majo no Tabitabi because i simp over Elaina, lol

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (7.97). Both seasons are amazing but the first one still haunts me and impressed me the most.
